Dave and Bob Tatge did our class proud on June 12th as they presented the first Class of 1974 Success Through Challenge Scholarship to Anna Overholt, a 2024 Senior who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at an early age.  This challenge motivated Anna to become a frequent volunteer, fund raiser and spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association, all while exceeding in her academics.  The best part is she is going to the University of Rhode Island to become a nurse, specializing in either endocrinology or dermatology.  

We had the immense pleasure of meeting Anna after the awards ceremony and were impressed with her sweet demeanor and gratitude…. confirming our decision was correct.  So many students were recognized that evening…. a proud moment for many Spartan families.  We were proud to represent the Class of 1974.
